Crunchy, gooey Lucky Charms treats – the easy, no-bake treat that you and your kids can make any time! Plus, who doesn’t love double the marshmallow?

Ingredients

What I love most about these no-bake bars is that there are only a few ingredients needed to make them.

marshmallow and butter melted in pot

Butter – You should use unsalted butter unless you want salty treats, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

Marshmallows – I like to use more than usual marshmallows in these bars only because I like having unmelted marshmallows folded in to create pockets of gooeyness. You can use large or mini marshmallows when you are melting them, but only the mini marshmallows when you fold them in.

Lucky Charms – The main ingredient! You can use the regular kind or the chocolate version if you want to switch things up!

Sprinkles – These are totally optional, but I love them for added color and fun!

How to make the treats

These Lucky Charms treats are so easy to make, it is a great project to do with kids. It takes only a few steps and minimal adult supervision.

  4. Top with additional Lucky Charms marshmallows.

Success Tips

  • Line your baking pan with aluminum foil, and then lightly grease it with cooking spray.
  • Lightly grease your hands or the bottom of a cup to press down the cereal into an even layer. It helps prevent the marshmallow from sticking everywhere.
  • Do not press too hard, it will break apart the cereal and make it less chewy since it is so compacted.

Storage tips

You should not cut the bars until you are ready to serve them, if possible. It keeps the bars from drying out or getting too hard to enjoy.

Always keep your treats in an airtight container. They should last cut or uncut in an airtight container for up to 4 – 5 days.

You can freeze your treats. I recommend wrapping them individually and placing them in an airtight container. They will last up to a month like this.
